Snowdrops are some of the very first flowers to come up after winter - as early as January in the UK! I hadn't realized they grew here as well, so when I first came upon them growing at our nearby nature preserve, I actually teared up!
Snowdrops carry many meanings in the Victorian Language of Flowers, including "Hope", "Friendship in Adversity", and "Purity". I combined a few for the name of "Pure Hope".
These little Snowdrops are highlighted with metallic watercolors, the edges hand-deckled, and framed in a little brass floater frame that measures about 2.5x4". This sweet painting is the perfect size for that little nook, windowsill, or bookshelf.
