This collection was a collaborative effort between myself and Amber Marie Cruz.

I drew the figures and shipped her the paintings with the permission to do absolutely whatever she wanted with them.

She leaned into a posture of play and created the beautiful, loose backgrounds you see in each painting.
Once I received the paintings back, I used her backgrounds as inspiration to choose the colors and imagery of each piece, and the meanings of each of the plants surprised me in a beautiful way.

The resultant artworks speak of the healing qualities of time in nature, and the freedom of play.
