Foraging is a fascination of mine, and I knew I wanted to include it in my painting of Summer! The figure gazes down with a golden bee-crown on her brow, and inside the branches, she forages for summer mushrooms, berries, and herbs by the pond.
 
I am so inspired by each season as it comes that I wanted to paint a series highlighting each one!
