"The Bohemian II" is a 2x3" abstract watercolor representation of the Enneagram personality Type 4 with a Type 5 wing.

My technique with these paintings is to wet the paper, and then to dip my paint-loaded brush into the water, letting the pigment go where it wills. I love the organic look this gives, and in this piece, the background is painted with real amethyst-derived paint, so it has its own natural sparkle. Then the green and silver strokes on top are carefully placed to interact with and add to the background, creating unique compositions that would be impossible to recreate.
