"The Friend II" is a 4x6" abstract watercolor representation of the Enneagram personality Type 6 with a Type 7 wing.

Watercolor pigments often have a mind of their own, and I couldn't be more pleased about that in this painting. The patterns in the purple background happened organically as the pigment settled on the wet paper, seperating slightly into shades more pink and more blue in different areas. I then carefully placed strokes of yellow, bronze, and gold to compliment the background and create a composition.
 
With hand-deckled edges, this painting would look amazing in a floater frame or shadow box!
