"The Maverick III" is a 4x6" abstract watercolor representation of the Enneagram personality Type 8 with a Type 7 wing.

The technique I used to paint these allowed the background pigment to flow freely in the water, which gives it those beautiful flame-like 'blooms'. Once dry, I then carefully considered where each stroke of yellow, gold, or copper would go. This one feels like a warm fire, or a passionate dance.
 
With hand-deckled edges, this painting would look amazing in a floater frame or shadow box!
