This listing is for a giclee print of my original watercolor painting "The Investigator", a portrait of the Enneagram Type 5 personality type.
*** These prints are ordered from an off-site printer and drop-shipped to you; that speeds up delivery and helps out a tired artist-mom, but does mean I can't include extras like the flower descriptions. Feel free to copy-paste and print the description below! ***
------
"The committed, security-oriented type. Sixes are reliable, hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy. Excellent "troubleshooters", they foresee problems and foster cooperation, but can also become defensive, evasive, and anxious -- running on stress while complaining about it. They can be cautious and indecisive, but also reactive, defiant, and rebellious. They typically have problems with self-doubt and suspicion. At their best: internally stable and self-reliant." -Enneagram Institute
I drew the figure looking over their shoulder, since 6s tend to be observant and sometimes anxious; I also created a spray of petals coming from the head to show the 'radar'-like ability they have for foreseeing trouble.
I chose purple for its depth and complexity; a meloncholy edge, while also containing warmth.
The green flowers at the center are Heather, Bearded Crepis, and Euphorbia, which all mean "Protection", since 6s most crave security. I chose green as a calming, stable color.
The flowers in the face are Columbine, which stand for "Anxiety".
The rest of the flowers are as follows:
Marigold - "Prediction"
Bluebell - "Constancy"
Mountain Ash - "Prudence"
Enchanter's Nightshade - "Skepticism"
Goldenrod - "Precaution"

High-quality giclee prints on a lightly textured watercolor paper make these prints as close to the original as they can get!
I recommend pairing with an off-white mat in your favorite frame.
