If I could describe 2018 in a single word for my business, it would be LEARNING. I've been learning about myself as an artist, what I really want to do, WHY I paint the way that I do, and what I want to share with the world. I've been learning how to run an art business, learning how to act like a CEO instead of an employee (and BOY is that a mindshift!) I've been learning what it means to be a Work-At-Home mom to a baby who then grew into a toddler. I've been learning how to get as much done as possible in the span of a naptime. So without further ado, here's an overview of everything I was able to accomplish as Holly Carton: Fine Art & Illustration in 2018!
